Century-Old Lukang Shop: Curling Wreaths of Fragrant Smoke
Founded in the 21st year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, the first-generation ancestor established the "Shih Chin Yu Incense Shop" in Quanzhou, Fujian, marking the beginning of a long history of incense making. Soon after, the second and third generations, including Mr. Shih Kuang-tzu, relocated and settled in Taiwan, allowing the shop to take root in Lukang. Through the dedication and heritage passed down through generations, the business flourished, becoming a renowned brand far and wide.
A Fresh Integration of Traditional Chinese Culture and Tourism
As times change, the shop remains timeless; while its environment evolves, the ancient traditions and professional techniques remain constant. Looking ahead, the shop hopes to inject new life into this traditional culture through tourism—not only to educate Taiwanese travelers but also to share this legacy with the international community, ensuring that the "fragrance" is passed down forever.

"Original Character" Chen-Chi-Nan Incense Sticks 

Crafted from selected agarwood spices paired with a special secret formula. Once lit, it produces minimal smoke and is non-irritating to the nose. The aroma comes entirely from natural ingredients. It is primarily used for ancestral worship but can also be burned to refresh the mind and spirit.

"Dharma Orchid" Agarwood Coil Incense 

Made from pure, natural raw agarwood. Designed to be burned in ancestral halls or temples to maintain a continuous flame, the fragrance burns steadily along the coils, filling the entire hall with an elegant, subtle scent.

Incense DIY Workshops

In recent years, Shih Chin Yu San Fang has embraced the "Tourism Factory" concept. By extending ancient incense-making techniques to the public for hands-on experience, the shop offers visitors a sense of novelty and fun through the process of handcrafted creation.

Premium Agarwood & Sandalwood Small Coil Incense

In the early days, incense was provided solely for worship and rituals. To keep pace with modern trends, Shih Chin Yu San Fang has continuously innovated, developing small coil incense and "lying incense" (joss sticks) for aromatherapy. These are ideal for Zen meditation and serve as excellent tools for modern people to relieve stress or eliminate odors.

High-Grade Agarwood and Sandalwood Timber

All incense produced by Shih Chin Yu San Fang is made from agarwood and "Old Mountain" sandalwood, primarily sourced from Vietnam and India. The shop insists on using 100% natural raw materials and following ancient production methods. The family motto remains: Only by insisting on quality can the finest incense be created.

Spacious Storefront

The broad storefront does more than just sell products; it provides detailed explanations of the incense-making process to help tourists understand traditional culture. Furthermore, the shop pioneered DIY experience workshops, combining education with entertainment.
